TERRIFIC KIDS OF THE MONTH

Each month students are selected for displaying Character traits.  CONGRATULATIONS to all of the TERRIFIC KIDS!!

HERE'S WHAT WE ARE LEARNING:
READING - Sharing our opinions about what we read with our partners  
- reading with fluency, stamina, and expression
- sharing our ideas about books with others.
WRITING -Writing our opinions, stating reasons about how we feel the way we do, and making our case for our opinions.
MATH -Adding 2 diigit and 1 digit numbers
-Writing numbers in many different ways:  using pictures, quick tens, ones, and hunbreds, 
-and  numbers, or equations to show the number
SOCIAL STUDIES/SCIENCE -Life Cycles of Animals with a focus on animal groups: amphibians, mammals, reptiles, fish, birds, insects, and arachnids
